Archery Practice 17/03/14

Today’s practice was a Portsmouth – like most of my shoots have been over the winter (it’s a nice short round and you have the excuse of being inside by the heater rather than out on the line in the cold and the gathering dusk).
Final score 423.
I started off with all my usual bare-bow enthusiasm, but after a shooting a light fitting and three bits of carpet I decided to knock that on the head – realistically probably for good, since I clearly haven’t a smidgen of the talent I’d like to have for it…  So after about three ends I gave up, fitted a sight and restarted.  The above score is for recurve with sight.
