Naming Your Villainy

If I was the USA, and I wanted to create a tool that would allow me to spy on two hundred million SMS messages per day, I’d work on its name a little.

I’d want to really convey the breadth and scope of my sinister evil, so that when the system’s existence was inevitably revealed by an NSA whistleblower, people would be awestruck – stunned by the diabolical magnificence of it all.

Remember Echelon?  Now that was a good name.

Or, I could name the said system by random generation algorithm, as I presume the actual NSA must have done to have come up with the name “Dishfire”.
